About Our School
Angelus Academy is a pre-kindergarten through 8th grade Catholic School affiliated with the Diocese of Arlington. Angelus is accredited by the National Association of Private Catholic and Independent Schools (www.napcis.org).
We serve families in Northern Virginia by supporting parents in their sacred mission to transmit the rich and time-tested traditions of the Catholic faith and culture in a familial atmosphere characterized by mutual respect and generosity of spirit. We embrace a liberal arts curriculum in the classical tradition as the means to support our mission.
What makes Angelus Academy such a special place is the remarkable level of commitment this mission elicits in the school’s founders, trustees, faculty, staff, families and students.
We invite you to get to know the people whose combined witness and dedicated service keep the wheels turning at Angelus and contribute to the quality of our “finished product”: our graduates, who go on to great things and of whom we are all justly proud.
Angelus Academy admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other school-administered programs.
The mission of Angelus Academy is to infuse young lives with the truth of Catholic teaching at the very beginning of their vocation as students. It permeates every aspect of school life, from the daily routine of classes to community and parish outreach.
