Youth Apostles Pro-life Essay Contest Awards

Each year, Angelus Academy middle school students submit entries to the Youth Apostles Pro-life Essay Contest. Founded in the Diocese of Arlington, Youth Apostles is a non-profit organization officially approved by the Catholic Church as a mixed Public Association of Christ’s Faithful. It is comprised of priests and laymen who work with other volunteers to inspire young people to live a Christ-like life. Youth Apostles has run the pro-life essay contest since 1993, and has given thousands of youth an opportunity to think about and apply pro-life values, why they believe unborn human life should be protected and loved, and to express themselves.

The Youth Apostles Pro-life Coordinator noted that Angelus Academy’s “wonderful participation” in the annual essay contest “bears witness to the excellent education and presentation of values” that is provided to its students.
